Mikkel Nordsø and Ole Theill are two of Denmark’s masters. The fusion polymaths are back with ’Gravity and Beyond’ a lofty laid-back album with the duo’s signature sound.
The album takes the listener on an acoustic experience with electronica, percussion and acoustic string instruments. Throughout the tabla creates a dreamlike state.
In ‘Nine To Seven’, the vocal and guitar melodies glide carelessly through time and space. Not to mention the intense but at the same time reliving ‘OceanRaga’.
Once again Nordsø & Theill deliver a unique interplay on a high level
artistically and technically.
